"Billiard Accessories: Great Selection"
No matter where, how often, or how well you play, one thing is certain; every time you play pool, you need more than just a cue stick and a pool table. You need billiard accessories, such as chalk and pool ball racks. And when it comes to these items, we have a selection that is second to none. Whether you need cue cases for your pool sticks or training aids to improve your game, we have them all and more! Some things such as extra pool cue tips are a "Must Have", while others add enjoyment, convenience and assistance to the game.
What we consider necessities: Extra Cue Tips, Glue, Tip Tools, Pool Cue Chalk, Talc Powder and Shaft Slickers. Can you imagine being in the middle of a hot game and the tip falling off your cue? It happens! When it does wouldn't it be nice to have some extra tips available? We carry Le Pro Tips, Tiger Sniper Tips and Elk Master Tips, among others, in various sizes and hardness's. An extra tip is useless without a way to attach it. Tiger Glue for instant repairs or Tweeten Cement and a Porper Tip Clamp will come in handy. Once that new tip is on you need to shape and prepare it to accept chalk. Tools such as a Tip Pik and The Ultimate Tip Tool will accomplish this nicely. To prevent miscues you should keep your tip chalked. Master Chalk and Silver Cup Chalk come in a variety of colors to choose from. Sweaty hands and dirty cue shafts can wreak havoc on the accuracy of your game. Shaft Slickers, talc bags or even cone chalk will alleviate these problems.
In the game room, a wall mounted cue rack will look nice and keep your sticks out of harm's way. A bridge stick will make those hard to reach shots easier to shoot. And by all means, maintain your pool table felt with a nice brush and keep the pool table cover on when not in use. You will find these and many other useful products, all at great prices, throughout our website. We want to be your one stop, billiard accessories source!
"A Protective Pool Table Cover"
When the sport of billiards originated it was actually played outside, usually on grass. I would imagine rain was a welcomed event to keep the lawn green, but grazing animals and insects were probably a major cause of damage. Luckily today billiards is normally played indoors, but without a protective pool table cover, your prized possession is at risk! Household pets such as cats can do more damage than any inexperienced billiard player would ever do. Shield your cloth and rails from dust, spills and anything else that might be set on them. We offer economical covers that are 4mils thick to heavier, fitted, vinyl ones that provide maximum protection, all at affordable prices. After the game ends brush your felt, wipe down the rails and pockets and put it on. Remember, just like a raincoat, a pool
table cover only works if you use it!
"Different Types of Cue Balls"
In the game of billiards nothing takes a beating more than the cue balls do. In the past they were made of various materials such as wood and ivory. Today, most are made of phenolic resin. When it comes time to replace yours be sure to select the right one for the job. If you have a coin operated pool table you may need the oversized or magnetic type. The magnet trips an electronic sensor which directs the ball to the correct bin. On a non-coin operated table the standard type such as the Sterling Replacement model will work just fine. Some cue balls can also be used in regulation play as well as in practice. The Belgian Aramith Red Dot and the Aramith Pro Cup (known for its six dots and use on TV) will quickly show the effects of any spin or english that you may be applying. Use one and see how straight your stroke really is. You might be surprised!
